The Diamond Audioworks MEGA Isolation Transformer is a high-capacity power isolation solution engineered to deliver exceptionally clean and stable power to high-end audio systems. Designed around a precision Japanese C-Core transformer, the MEGA provides complete electrical isolation from the incoming mains supply, dramatically reducing noise, interference, and voltage instability that can degrade audio performance.

In modern homes, electrical pollution is unavoidable. Switch-mode power supplies, appliances, LED lighting, and networking equipment continuously inject noise into the mains supply. This contamination raises the noise floor of sensitive audio equipment and can mask musical detail, reduce dynamics, and compromise system transparency.

The MEGA solves this problem by using a true 1:1 isolation transformer topology, separating the primary and secondary circuits through magnetic coupling. Because there is no direct electrical connection between input and output, high-frequency noise, ground contamination, and electrical interference cannot pass through the transformer. To further enhance performance and protection, the MEGA incorporates RFI and EFI filtering circuitry, reducing radio frequency interference and electrical noise entering the system. The unit features high-quality Furutech power inlets, three copper power sockets providing six outlets, and a robust Mitsubishi power switch for reliable operation.

In addition to power purification, the MEGA includes an advanced voltage protection system designed to safeguard valuable audio equipment:

* Automatically shuts down if voltage exceeds 250V
* Restarts automatically when voltage stabilises above 200V with a 30-second delay
