The Reiki Audio SuperSwitch X with Pro X PSU is a high-performance audiophile network switch designed for installation before a network streamer. Developed from Reiki Audio’s multi-award-winning SuperSwitch platform, the SuperSwitch X combines extensive RFI/EMI shielding, vibration control and a purpose-designed fully linear power supply to provide a clean, stable network connection for high-end digital audio systems.

The SuperSwitch X features a substantially upgraded 10mm-thick aluminium chassis, double the thickness of the previous generation. The increased chassis mass and copper-lined construction provide greater mechanical rigidity and additional shielding from radiated RFI. The internal switching circuitry is also encapsulated in a non-conductive resin to help suppress micro-vibrations.

Designed for Streaming Audio Systems

The SuperSwitch X is designed to sit between your main network infrastructure and streamer, providing a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet connection for digital audio equipment. It is available in 2-port single-output and 3-port dual-output configurations.

For the simplest signal path, Reiki Audio recommends the 2-port version where additional network connections are not required. The 3-port version provides additional flexibility for systems requiring two network outputs.

10mm Aluminium and Copper-Lined Construction

The SuperSwitch X’s chassis has been increased from 5mm to 10mm aluminium, providing substantially greater mass and rigidity than the previous SuperSwitch. The aluminium enclosure is also copper-lined, creating additional shielding around the internal circuitry.

The circuit board is vibration damped and encapsulated in a non-conductive resin, while the case includes a dedicated 4mm grounding post for connection to an appropriate system grounding arrangement.

Vibration Control

Mechanical vibration control is integrated throughout the SuperSwitch X. Standard aluminium/silicone feet provide a stable platform, while an optional Stack Audio Auva EQ isolator upgrade is available using a specially commissioned threaded version of the Auva EQ.

The standard SuperSwitch X is supplied with three feet, with provision for a fourth where required.

Reiki Audio Pro X PSU

The SuperSwitch X is supplied with the matching Reiki Audio Pro X PSU, an upgraded fully linear power supply designed specifically for the X Series.

The Pro X PSU uses a 10mm aluminium case with matching foot options and incorporates a 25% larger Audio Grade transformer than the previous PRO PSU. Its low-impedance linear power design uses high-quality components to provide stable, low-ripple, low-noise 5V DC power to the SuperSwitch X.

The Pro X PSU and SuperSwitch X are designed to work together mechanically as well as electrically. The Pro X’s 10mm aluminium top plate sits directly beneath the SuperSwitch X, while the SuperSwitch X incorporates a copper-lined 10mm aluminium base. Together, this creates 20mm of aluminium separation between the SuperSwitch X circuitry and the PSU circuitry and transformer.

RakuDC PRO Cable Included

Every Pro X PSU is supplied with a 60cm RakuDC PRO DC cable as standard. The cable connects the Pro X PSU directly to the SuperSwitch X. Alternative RakuDC PRO cable lengths are also available where required for different system configurations.
